KUALA LUMPUR, March 8 (Bernama) — Construction Industry Development Board’s (CIDB)’s training centre, expected to begin operations in May, will train people from the industry on building information modelling (BIM) technology, says Chief Executive Officer Datuk Ir Ahmad Asri Abdul Hamid.

He said the RM2.5 million MyBIM Centre, at Sunway Tower, would have 40 BIM terminals.

BIM is a digital construction technology, which provides construction professionals with the tools to efficiently plan, design and construct buildings and infrastructure, among others…..
